Access to community activities

Through regularly participating in a particular interest in their community, comes the pleasure and opportunities of meeting other people who share similar interests.

RISC recognises the importance of meeting new people in the community for a person’s development of their own social network and a positive self image.

Participating in everyday social and recreational activities is essential to extending a positive and valued image of people with disabilities.

One to one support

Service is based on one to one support so we can personalise the outing to best suit the person, their interests, and their style of personal development.

Our focus is supporting recreational and leisure interests of the person and assisting their personal development and skill building.

RISC strives for increased personal growth, self esteem, and life experiences, by providing opportunities and support to build friendships with people while pursuing recreational and social interests..
